The Cocoa and Forests Initiative (“CFI”) is currently being implemented in Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, which together produce around 60% of the world’s cocoa.
A second phase of the initiative began with the adoption of an action plan for 2022-2025, with the objective of meeting the commitments made in the Joint Framework for Action. Point 8 of this framework refers to the monitoring and evaluation of the initiative.
The initiative’s monitoring and evaluation framework should therefore assess the actions taken by the various signatories (Government and private companies) in relation to their respective commitments.
CFI Permanent Secretariat has decided to launch a call for proposals for the recruitment of a monitoring and evaluation expert (firm or individual consultant).
The proposal must be submitted to Gnagne Kevin at gnagne@idhtrade.org with a copy to Col. Ynsa Traoré at ynsa.tk@gmail.com before O6 November 2023 at 23:59 GMT.
